Daniel Feldman is a Grammy-nominated and three-time Latin Grammy-nominated drummer and percussionist originally from Mexico City. He is widely recognized for his expertise in hand percussion, drawing from a wide range of global traditions, particularly those of Latin America, including strong Afro-Cuban influences, as well as the Mediterranean and Middle East.
Combining his multicultural roots with elements of jazz, pop, funk, and world music, Daniel has cultivated a distinctive rhythmic voice that bridges cultures and genres. Over the past 24 years, he has performed and recorded with a diverse roster of artists, including Ian Ethan Case, Carlos Rivera, David Broza, Ledisi, Noel Schajris (Sin Bandera), MARO, Leslie Grace, Adrian Cota, Sofia Reyes, Alejandro Sanz, Danny Ocean, and Reza Rohani.
In 2022, he joined the legendary Arturo Sandoval’s band as a full-time percussionist, later expanding his role to also include drum set. Since then, he has toured extensively with Sandoval, bringing dynamic, high-energy performances to audiences around the world.
Now based in Los Angeles, Daniel continues to tour, record, and teach, sharing his passion for rhythm through a wide range of musical projects including recording percussion for movie, commercials, and TV. Whether on stage, in the studio, or in the classroom, he brings a deep sense of cultural fluency and musicality to everything he does.
